Ecomz helps merchants run their own store, customers, orders, payments, analytics, pages, and AI employee experience.
Ecomz Terms and Conditions
Terms for merchants building their own branded ecommerce store.
These Terms explain the rules for using Ecomz merchant accounts, branded storefronts, mobile app workflows, AI employee features, subscriptions, payments, analytics, builder tools, and shop isolation.
Each merchant shop is intended to operate as a separate branded shop space with its own data, settings, and customer relationship.
Merchants remain responsible for products, policies, taxes, payments, customer promises, third-party tools, and legal compliance.
1. About these Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to merchants and users who access or use Ecomz, including the Ecomz website, merchant account sign-up, merchant web panel, branded storefront platform, iOS and Android app experience, AI employee features, analytics, builder tools, and related merchant services.
These Terms are for the Ecomz merchant platform. Any separate white-label platform purchase, partnership, custom build, deployment, or enterprise arrangement with Softexpoit may require a separate written agreement.
2. Company information
Ecomz is operated by Softexpoit Pvt. Limited, Company No. 13626037, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom.
For questions about these Terms, contact info@ecomz-sites.com.
3. Merchant accounts
To use merchant features, you may need to create an Ecomz merchant account through the web platform or mobile app path. You must provide accurate information, protect your login details, and keep your business, billing, contact, and shop details up to date.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for making sure anyone you invite to operate your shop follows these Terms.
4. Your branded shop
Ecomz helps merchants create their own branded ecommerce website with products, categories, pages, customer accounts, checkout, orders, invoices, emails, analytics, SEO settings, marketing pixels, AI employee configuration, and mobile management workflows.
Each merchant shop is treated as a separate shop space. Your shop, products, customers, orders, payments, analytics, storefront content, and AI settings are intended to stay separate from other merchants' shops.
5. Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for your products, prices, stock, descriptions, images, taxes, delivery promises, refund rules, customer service, store policies, and compliance with laws that apply to your business and location.
You must not use Ecomz to sell illegal, unsafe, infringing, misleading, restricted, or harmful products or services. You must not use Ecomz for fraud, spam, malware, abusive behaviour, unauthorised scraping, or activity that harms the platform or other merchants.
6. Customers and storefront policies
Customers who buy from your branded storefront are buying from your business. You are responsible for displaying clear customer-facing policies, including delivery, refunds, privacy, contact, product, pricing, and legal information required for your store.
Ecomz provides platform tools to help you operate the store, but it does not become the seller of your products unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
7. Subscriptions, pricing, and billing
Ecomz may offer free trials, paid subscriptions, add-ons, usage-based features, AI upgrades, builder upgrades, mobile app paths, or other merchant services. The plan, price, billing period, included features, and renewal terms will be shown at sign-up, checkout, invoice, or written offer.
You agree to pay all fees connected to your selected plan and any approved add-ons. Taxes, payment gateway charges, third-party service fees, chargebacks, currency conversion, and bank charges may apply separately.
8. Payments and gateways
Merchants may connect their own payment gateways or payment settings where available. You are responsible for your payment account, payout details, customer payment policies, chargebacks, refunds, taxes, and gateway compliance.
Third-party payment providers operate under their own terms, privacy policies, risk rules, and availability.
9. AI employee features
Ecomz may provide AI employee features that help answer shopper questions, explain products, support customers, suggest items, and communicate in a merchant-approved tone.
AI output can be useful, but it may not always be perfect. Merchants are responsible for reviewing AI configuration, shop policies, product data, prohibited claims, regulated product rules, and customer-facing messages.
10. Builder, themes, and content
Ecomz may include drag-and-drop pages, themes, landing pages, banners, storefront sections, product pages, SEO settings, and design controls. You are responsible for the content you upload, publish, or display in your shop.
You must have the rights to use your logos, images, text, product media, brand assets, and marketing content.
11. Analytics, pixels, and third-party tools
Ecomz may provide analytics, visit alerts, reports, exports, SEO tools, product feeds, and marketing signal features. You may also connect services such as Meta, TikTok, Google Analytics, email services, or other third-party tools.
You are responsible for configuring third-party tools correctly and for informing customers where consent, privacy notice, cookie notice, or local legal requirements apply.
12. Mobile apps and app stores
Ecomz merchant mobile app features may help merchants manage products, orders, customers, inventory, notifications, analytics, and shop activity from iOS and Android devices.
When using apps distributed through Apple App Store or Google Play, those app store terms, review rules, device permissions, and platform policies may also apply.
13. Security
You must keep passwords, devices, admin access, staff access, API keys, payment credentials, pixel IDs, and connected services secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your Ecomz account.
Ecomz uses security measures designed to support account protection, encrypted transmission, access control, monitoring, and shop isolation, but no digital platform can guarantee uninterrupted or risk-free operation.
14. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Ecomz reliable and useful, but features may change, improve, pause, or be removed as the platform develops. Maintenance, outages, third-party issues, app store review delays, payment provider problems, or internet failures may affect availability.
We may update these Terms or platform features when needed. Continued use of Ecomz after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access if an account breaches these Terms, creates security risk, harms the platform, fails to pay fees, violates law, abuses customers, infringes rights, or uses Ecomz in a way that damages other merchants or Softexpoit.
You may stop using Ecomz subject to your plan, billing, export, cancellation, retention, and legal obligations.
16. Intellectual property
Ecomz, platform designs, software, systems, interfaces, visual assets, documentation, and brand materials belong to Softexpoit or its licensors. Merchants keep ownership of their own uploaded shop content, business branding, product content, and customer-facing materials, subject to rights needed for Ecomz to provide the service.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Softexpoit is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of sales, loss of data caused by merchant action, business interruption, third-party provider failures, payment gateway decisions, customer disputes, product issues, or merchant legal compliance failures.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer or local laws say otherwise. Courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction where legally permitted.
