Each merchant's shop, customers, orders, analytics, AI settings, and storefront data stay within that merchant's branded shop space.
Ecomz Privacy Policy
Privacy built around every merchant's own branded shop.
This policy explains how Ecomz handles merchant accounts, merchant web, iOS and Android app use, branded storefronts, customer data, analytics, AI employee features, and strict shop isolation.
Encrypted transmission, account controls, access restrictions, monitoring, and operational safeguards support the platform.
Merchants and users can contact Softexpoit for privacy, data, or security questions connected to Ecomz.
1. Who we are
Ecomz is an AI ecommerce platform for merchants who want to launch and manage their own branded online store, merchant panel, mobile app workflow, products, customers, orders, payments, invoices, analytics, marketing setup, and AI employee features.
Ecomz is operated by Softexpoit Pvt. Limited, Company No. 13626037, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom.
2. Where this policy applies
This Privacy Policy applies to the Ecomz marketing website, merchant account sign-up, merchant web panel, Ecomz merchant mobile apps for iOS and Android, and platform communications connected to Ecomz merchant services.
Each merchant shop is a separate branded business space. A merchant's products, customers, orders, payments, analytics, AI settings, storefront content, and shop settings are kept separate from other merchant shops.
3. Information we collect
When a merchant creates or manages an account, we may collect name, email address, phone number, business name, shop name, login credentials, subscription details, billing records, support messages, and the settings needed to run the merchant's shop.
When a merchant uses Ecomz, the platform may process store content such as products, categories, images, prices, stock, orders, invoices, customers, customer accounts, delivery details, payment status, emails, analytics events, page designs, SEO settings, marketing pixels, and AI employee configuration.
When someone visits an Ecomz website or merchant storefront, we may process technical data such as IP address, device type, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location signals, referral sources, and cookie or pixel information where enabled.
4. Merchant stores and customer data
Merchants use Ecomz to run their own branded storefronts. A customer buying from a merchant store is dealing with that merchant's business, products, policies, and customer relationship.
Ecomz provides the platform layer that helps merchants process store activity, orders, customer accounts, notifications, analytics, and AI support. Merchants are responsible for their own storefront policies, product information, refund rules, delivery promises, tax obligations, and customer communications.
5. How we use information
We use information to create merchant accounts, operate branded storefronts, process orders and store activity, provide the merchant panel and mobile app experience, send service messages, maintain security, respond to support requests, improve reliability, and provide subscription or billing administration.
We also use information to provide platform features such as inventory alerts, reports, invoices, automated emails, analytics, SEO tools, marketing pixel setup, customer retention tools, drag-and-drop pages, and AI employee support.
6. AI employee features
Ecomz AI employee features are designed for each merchant shop. The AI employee can use that merchant's own shop information, product information, policies, customer questions, and approved business tone to support shopping and service conversations.
AI employee settings and shop knowledge are kept within the merchant's own shop experience. Merchants should not add unnecessary sensitive personal data into AI instructions, product descriptions, policies, or support prompts.
7. Shop isolation and security
Ecomz is built around strict shop isolation. Each merchant's branded shop, customer base, order history, analytics, payment setup, marketing settings, AI employee settings, and store configuration are handled as a separate shop space.
We use security controls designed to protect accounts and platform data, including encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS, authentication controls, access restrictions, monitoring, backup and operational safeguards, and internal practices intended to reduce unauthorised access.
8. Sharing information
We share information only where needed to run Ecomz, provide services, comply with law, protect the platform, or support merchant-requested integrations.
Examples may include hosting providers, payment gateways, email or messaging services, analytics services, fraud prevention or security providers, support tools, app store providers, and merchant-selected marketing platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google Analytics, or other pixel services.
We do not sell merchant shop data or customer data as a shared customer list. Merchant shops are independent branded store experiences.
9. Payments and third-party services
Merchants may connect payment gateways, analytics tools, marketing pixels, domain services, delivery services, and other third-party integrations. Those third parties may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
A merchant is responsible for choosing the third-party tools connected to their own shop and for informing customers when those tools are used on the merchant's storefront.
10. Cookies, analytics, and marketing signals
Ecomz may use cookies, analytics, and similar technologies to run the platform, understand website performance, maintain security, remember preferences, and improve the merchant experience.
Merchants may also connect their own pixels or analytics tools for their branded storefronts. Those settings belong to the merchant's shop and should match the merchant's own privacy and consent responsibilities.
11. Mobile apps
The Ecomz merchant mobile apps may process account, device, usage, notification, crash, and diagnostic information needed to help merchants manage their shops from iOS and Android devices.
Apple App Store and Google Play may also process information under their own terms and privacy policies when an app is downloaded, updated, reviewed, or used through their services.
12. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Ecomz, maintain merchant accounts, meet legal, accounting, tax, security, and operational requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
When a merchant account is closed, some information may be retained where required for legal records, fraud prevention, accounting, backups, dispute handling, or platform security.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live and how the information is processed, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
If you are a customer of a merchant storefront, you should first contact the merchant you bought from because that merchant owns the direct customer relationship. Ecomz can support merchants where platform records are involved.
14. International services
Ecomz may use service providers and infrastructure that operate in different countries. Where information is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to protect it according to applicable data protection requirements.
15. Children's data
Ecomz is intended for merchants and business use. Merchants must make sure their stores, products, policies, and customer handling follow laws that apply to children or age-restricted products in their location.
16. Contact
